Grants will support equipment purchases, new uniforms and facility improvements
The Green Bay Packers this summer awarded 20 youth football programs across Wisconsin a Packers Youth Football Matching Grant. The $1,000 grants will support equipment purchases, new uniforms and football facility improvements.
All youth football programs in Wisconsin both flag and tackle were eligible to apply. To secure the matching grant, each program was required to raise $1,000 of its own funds.
The programs selected include:

- Melrose-Mindoro Junior High Football, Melrose
- Neenah Rockets Junior High Football, Neenah
- Nicolet Jr. Knights Football, Glendale
- Oak Creek Youth Football, Oak Creek
- Portage Youth Football, Portage
- Prospect University Sports Inc., Milwaukee
- Somerset Youth Football, Somerset
- Southside Raiders Football and Cheerleading Inc., Madison
- Sparta Youth Football, Sparta
- Stephenson Sharks Youth Football, Stephenson

The Packers Youth Football Matching Grant program is part ofGreen Bay Packers Give Back, the organization's all-encompassing community outreach initiative. Packers Give Back includes appearances by players, alumni, coaches and staff, monetary and in-kind donations, community events, Make-A-Wish visits, football outreach and much more. These efforts contribute to an annual charity impact in excess of $13 million.
