Packers Give Back Game to honor Wisconsin educators and staff for their commitment to students across the state
Lambeau Field is set to welcome fans for Saturday's preseason matchup between the Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks. The game is presented byBatteries Plusand kickoff is at 3 p.m.
As part of the fifth annual "Packers Give Back Game," the organization will recognizeWisconsin educators and staffas a new school year gets under way. In collaboration with Wisconsin CESAs (Cooperative Educational Service Agencies), hundreds of educators and staff from across the state will receive a free bus ride to Saturday's game, a food and beverage gift card and tickets to a designated area in the south end zone. Prior to kickoff, several honorees will be recognized on the field.
As a new season begins, fans should ensure the most current version of the Packers mobile app has been downloaded to their mobile device. Fans are reminded thatLambeau Field and all its businesses are cashless, including parking. Concession stands and other terminals around the stadium feature tap-to-pay technology, allowing fans to pay up to four times faster than before. Those who do not have credit/debit cards or contactless payment solutions may use a cash-to-card conversion station located in the Atrium.
Game attendees who have not visited Lambeau Field recently are encouraged to explore the upper and lower concourses to enjoy the variety of concession stands available, including efficient grab-and-go concessions and market-style stands. Fans can also visit two levels of the Miller Lite End Zone on the north side of the stadium, which includes the grab-and-go Miller Lite Market and the Miller Lite End Zone Bar, a climate-controlled bar space. Attendees can also enjoy dozens of large LED screens throughout both levels of the concourse to stay updated on the game action while away from their seats.
Fireworkswill be set off from the stadium roof one hour prior to kickoff to remind fans to head toward the stadium to be inside by kickoff. Fans entering all gates will receive magnetic game schedules, compliments ofBatteries Plus.
Prior to the national anthem, the Packers will recognizeU.S.Navy veteran Todd HopeandU.S. Army veteran Sam Hopethrough Operation Fan Mail, presented by Network Health. Country music singer/songwriterOlivia Maro,a Pulaski, Wis., native,will perform the anthem. At halftime, the Milwaukee Reagan HuskiesandMilwaukee School of Languages Hawkswill take part in theGirls Flag High School Quarterback Challengepresented by HPE/Camera Corner, and teams from Verona Youth Footballwill scrimmage.
Fans are reminded of the stadium safety policy. No bags or purses will be allowed inside Lambeau Field unless they are clear and are no larger than 12" by 6" by 12." All fans entering Lambeau Field on gamedays will use walk-through metal detectors. There is no exit/re-entry for afternoon games.
The Lambeau Field parking lots will open Saturday at 11 a.m., with stadium gates opening at 1 p.m. The Atrium will be open to ticket holders at 11 a.m. via the American Family Insurance Gate. Guests with specials needs should note that wheelchair assistance is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests with mobility challenges are encouraged to use their own wheelchairs.
Fans can visit the Johnsonville Tailgate Village, the permanent tailgating and event structure in the stadium's east side parking lot. The space hosts ticketed and non-ticketed guests from 11 a.m. until one hour after the game ends. It will feature live music from the band Copper Box as well as food, beverages and a festive tailgating atmosphere.
